The ideal is to rub the walls with soap to remove dirt immediately after use. If you can't, rinse them to remove any leftovers and prevent odors from appearing. If you can't either, you can always clean them with paper, removing food scraps and grease. It is not recommended to keep them closed for a long time when they are dirty.

 

Wash the containers in the dishwasher.

First of all, don't forget to check if the container is dishwasher safe. Otherwise, you will have to wash it by hand.

If you can, the dishwasher is much more hygienic.

Leave the containers on the kitchen counter and do not store them until they are completely dry to avoid all traces of moisture. And never store them closed with the lid!

• Make a paste with water and baking soda and place it in the container for a few hours. Then remove and wash the container.

• When you wash the containers, add a few drops of lemon to remove the remains of sauce impregnated on the walls.

• To prevent the plastic from absorbing sauces and odors: put a little oil on the walls before putting the food. Wait for the food to cool before putting it in the container, as the heat causes the plastic to expand slightly and catch the color of the sauce.
