Where should the oven be placed in the kitchen?

The oven can be placed in two locations inside the kitchen - under the ceramic cooktop or on a column, which is usually placed with the microwave, built into the cabinet.

You can find different recommendations on how high to place the oven. An adequate height, if you place it embedded in a column, is to put it from 45 cm to 78 cm from the ground.

Placing the oven in a built-in cabinet, at this height, has the benefit of being ergonomic since it does not require you to bend down to pick up hot food when taking it out of this appliance.

In addition, it allows for a more comfortable cleaning after using it.

When placing the oven under the ceramic cooktop, a space of about 18 cm is usually left between the floor and the oven.
